A Canadian Missionary Family Needed

To Support the Establishment of the Ministry in Uganda
Roles Include:
  • Serve as Camp Director(s).

  • Work in collaboration with the Ministry Trustee Board, Uganda Local Board, and a Ugandan Camp Co-Director.

  • Facilitate building of a year-round Bible Camp culture, drawing from over 50 years of Canadian Bible camp experience.

  • Support and implement the Living GOD Bible Camp Ministry vision, values, and mission in Uganda and beyond through training of trainers (Bible camp trainers & group/cabin leaders).

  • Support the implementation of the ministry strategic plan.

  • Help develop culturally appropriate Christian camping models.

  • Train and equip camp leaders and volunteers on effective Christian camping models.

  • Help develop and implement the marketing strategy for the ministry.

  • Support the setup and establishment of a coordination unit and center for ministry activities.

  • Provide leadership training and development.

  • Fundraise for their ministry work and for the development of at least one camp training site.

  • Seek a mentor in this role, and also serve as a mentor for others willing to develop Bible camp sites.

Any Interested Individual or Family:
  1. Willingness to resettle in Uganda for 3–5 years.

  2. Must be a Christian family that exhibits Christ-like character.

  3. Knowledge and training in developing, running, and managing camps (basic requirement).

  4. Grounded in faith, biblically sound, and willing to adhere to the code of conduct and SOPs of the ministry.

  5. Willingness to adapt to a foreign culture.

  6. Understanding of the dynamics of work and life in Africa.

  7. Willingness to raise ministry funds for their service as a missionary and for a ministry development project aligned with their passion.
