The Living God Bible Camp Ministry Development Cycle
Camps and activities should be planned with the overarching mindset that one who comes as a non-Christian, they encounter Christ and then camp is an opportunity for them to be discipled and helped to grow in their walk with God. The individual is then set on a path that equips and trains them to be a leader who influences their world and community.
All this is done in an environment that is organized, structured and has systems well put in place that make the camping experience worthwhile. The end product of this cycle is to establish a generation of people who love and honor God in all aspects of their lives
The Scope of The Strategy
This is a comprehensive strategy for Living God Bible Camp Ministry including the development of programmes and of priority to attain a financial equilibrium to further leadership development.
Strategic Goals and Action Steps
- Mobilize and gather in love unsaved people to attend Camp
- Preach/teach the gospel that emphasizes the kingdom of God
- Intentional call/altar-call to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior
- Emphasize the demonstration of a lifestyle of a Christ-like example among camp leaders/volunteers
- Establish and environment that teaches and emphasizes the development of a personal devotional life
- Develop, build and facilitate a reservoir of discipleship materials
- Develop a mentor-mentee structure and system for accountability and growth leading to Christian maturity
- Practice bible-based teaching leading to transformation
- Intentional leadership training, sessions and exercises
- Equip leaders with necessary leadership tools to enhance their leadership potential
- Create opportunities for/link leaders to opportunities that facilitate the exercise and expression of leadership potential
- Duplication of organization learnings/contribute to Christian camping ministry promotion and execution in Uganda and Africa
- Camp Planting
- Maintain a robust, well-facilitated and managed office/office structure
- Develop and acquire adequate infrastructure to enhance the Living God Bible Camp Ministry vision
- Establish a well -organized, accountable reporting, assessment and evaluation system
- Develop a fundraising infrastructure that ensures long-term sustainability of the organization
- Ensure compliance with all legal government and faith standards
